Adicom Wireless Inc., of Hayward, CA, U.S.A, supplied the network, using A-CDMA technology. The lines will be deployed in December 1999. C&I Leasing provided financing for the transaction. |

| Vernon Engineering, an indigenous dredging company recently mobilized a complete dredge spread consisting of a dredger, a houseboat, a tugboat and various light marine craft. The company has been awarded a three-year contract to dredge drilling slots for Shell Petroleum Development Company Ltd. Financing for the equipment spread and ancillary equipment to meet exacting Shell standards was provided by a consortium led by C&I Leasing through a syndicated lease facility. |

| C & I Leasing PLC successfully concluded a combined rights and public offer for 120 million shares in a bid to raise =N= 144 million. The offer was 104% subscribed and was a reflection of the confidence of the Nigerian capital market in the company. To mark the formal completion, the company hosted some selected analysts to a briefing luncheon at the Lagoon Restaurant in Lagos. |

| OIS International took delivery of a 4000 hp AHTS vessel for initial use in West Africa. The lease represents a breakthrough in cross-border leasing transactions of this nature, as the owner is a non-Nigerian entity. |

| C&I Leasing held its 8th Annual General Meeting at the Muson Centre, Lagos. The results unveiled showed that profits before tax had increased from =N= 27.5 million to =N= 44 million, while total assets grew from N242 million to =N= 545 million. |
